Kersten Kunststofcoating has many years' experience with high-quality plastic coatings. We have been coating pipe system with Rilsan since 1967 by dipcoating in a fluidised bed. We opened a plant in Brummen in 1973 to meet the growing demand for Rilsan in the potable water production market. A few years later we added the fluoropolymer Halar ECTFE to our range of coatings.
Due to ongoing modernisation more fluoropolymers were added to our product range in 1992. At the same time, we built a system for the environment-friendly removal of old coatings. Recently we have added the Whitford and DuPont™ coatings to our Fluoropolymer group.
In 1996 we constructed an ultra-modern production plant in Kahla (Thüringen) in Germany. This plant applies the same high-quality coatings as our plant at Brummen in the Netherlands. In 2011 we expanded our facility in the Netherlands with about 50% especially for high quality fluoropolymer coatings.
